Adding Animated GIFs, Stickers, and Emojis to Questions
You can add Animated GIFs from Giphy's animated library to add more fun and dimension to your Experiences. With just a few clicks, you can add:
- A hilarious meme
- A famous scene from a movie
- An animated celebrity or political figure
- Cartoons from famous movies (e.g. Elsa from Frozen)
To add a GIF, you can first navigate to the Experience Dashboard, then to the blue Questions tab, and select the question tab of the question you'd like to add a GIF. Look for the Add Giphy GIF button with a video camera icon located to the right of the Multiple-Choice Answers section and within the Question Media box.

Choosing a GIF
Once you click on Add Giphy GIF, a blue pop-up box with a search bar and examples of animated GIFs will display. You can either choose one of the trending GIFs or search for a particular one. For this example, we are searching for a "Disney princess" GIF to add to our trivia question.
Once you've clicked on your desired GIF, it will automatically be added to your question and displayed to the left of the answer choices on the Presentation View.
Viewing the Animated GIFs on the Presentation View
Once you've successfully added a GIF to the question, it will be displayed on the Presentation View whenever that particular question is displayed. GIFs are displayed to the left of the various answer options for your entire crowd to see.
Viewing the GIF on the Participant View
Your animated GIF question will also be shown on every participant's mobile device on the Participant View of your Poll or Trivia Game. In case you're not using the Presentation View, your participants will still see the GIF on their devices and above the Active Question's text.
