If you have an Experience with a large number of participants and lead capture data, exporting to a spreadsheet is essential in speeding up the process of importing your lead capture data into a third-party CRM (Customer Relationship Management), marketing service (e.g. email list manager), or even just being able to do analysis on the data using spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, etc.)
Exporting Lead Capture Data
When your Experience has ended, you can export your participants' lead capture data on the purple Leads tab and under the Participants section.
|The Participants table shows 84 participants with various data (not actual data).|
Simply click on the pink Export Crowd Lead Data button and all of your participants' input data will be exported to a spreadsheet-compatible comma-separated values (CSV) file called CrowdDataCaptureExport_timestamp.csv. This spreadsheet will list each participant in a row and each enabled lead capture field in the columns of the row.
This is an export of all the enabled lead capture fields from your Experience. So if you enabled Email, Phone Number, Age, Country, etc. these will all be included in the export. This allows you to build a contact list, add contact data to a database, etc.
|An example Lead Capture Data export opened in Google Sheets (not actual data).|
The Lead Capture Data export is the only data export in Crowdpurr that will include all of the lead capture fields you have collected from your participants. Other types of exports such as Trivia Rankings or Poll Results will include basic fields and a Player ID, but will not include additional fields like Age or Country for example.
This is a great way to archive your participants and capture their lead capture fields such as email, phone number, name, age, etc. You can then use this data for further analysis, marketing, contact lists, etc.
