When you first create an Experience, by default it will be in the Ready state. While in the Ready state, your crowd will not be allowed to interact with your Experience. If your audience visits your Experience URL (a.k.a. Crowd URL) on their mobile device in this state, they will be shown a message that the Experience will begin shortly.
Starting an Experience
To make your Experience Live and allow players to participate, you'll need to "Start" it. To start an Experience, simply click on the green circular Play button under the Control Center box in the upper-left-corner of the Experience Dashboard. After clicking the Play button, your Experience is now in the Live state and is open to interaction.
The Control Center
This is in the top left corner of the Experience Dashboard, under the Title of your experience.
The Status Bar
This is in the top right corner of the Experience Dashboard
Your Experience will now allow your crowd to participate if they are currently logged into your Experience on their mobile device (more on this later!) The play button now turns into a Pause button if you need to pause your Experience.
Pausing an Experience
During your live event and experience, there may be times when you want to pause. Pausing your Experience will temporarily stop your crowd from interacting and will show the crowd an "Experience Paused, Will Resume Shortly" message on their mobile devices.
To pause an Experience, simply click on the gray circular Pause button under the Control Center. To continue an Experience and resume interaction, simply click the button again which has now reverted back to the Play button to indicate that this will resume your Experience.
The "Live" State
Your experience will be remain "Live" and open to new participants in your crowd until you either pause it or finish it (more on this in the below articles).
