All Crowdpurr Premium Plans
allow you to export and save every single Social Wall message that is posted by your participants to your Social Wall
. Included with each post are the following:
- The timestamp indicating when the post was received
- What the message was
- What its source was (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Crowdpurr)
- An image if one was included with the post.
Additionally, you can export your Social Wall participants' input lead capture data if they posted using the Crowdpurr web app.
All exports are saved to a comma-separated values (.CSV) file spreadsheet for later analysis and archival.
Export Social Wall Messages
On the blue Activity
tab on the Experience Dashboard
, click on the pink Export Crowd Activity
button. This will export every post from every single user to a CSV file spreadsheet. You can perfectly archive every post your participants sent, where the post was sourced from, and the time the post was sent. This tab lets you view and export your Social Wall's participant activity for your records.

Export Social Wall Images
Crowdpurr is currently working on the automated export of Social Wall images; however, until we finish this feature, you must manually export your Social Wall images in the meantime.
You can manually export your Social Wall images by navigating to the Experience Dashboard and clicking on the blue Social Wall tab. The Social Walls posts are displayed on this tab. In your web browser's menu, click on File → Save As to save the Experience Dashboard as a web page. This should also save an images folder. Inside the images folder will be several images including your Social Wall images.
Repeat this process for each tab of Social Wall posts that is available for your Social Wall.
We know this is cumbersome and not ideal and are working on a Social Wall images export function. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need assistance with this process.
Export Crowd Lead Capture Data
Lastly, on the purple Leads tab and under the Participants heading, you can click on the pink Export Crowd Lead Data button. This will export every participant and any entered Lead Capture fields from the fields enabled on this tab to a CSV file spreadsheet. This is a great way to archive your participants and capture their lead capture fields such as email, phone number, name, age, etc. You can then use this data for further analysis, marketing, contact lists, etc.

After exporting your Social Wall data and saving the data onto CSV file spreadsheets, you can feel free to reset your Social Walls
and clear out any participant posts. You may then re-run your Social Wall for a new crowd as many times as you'd like using this method. You will still have your saved data exports to refer to for a historical record of your Social Walls.
What If You Never Export Your Data? How Long Is Data Saved?
Crowdpurr will retain all of your Experiences and crowd responses indefinitely. Some users prefer to leave their crowd responses within their Experiences and choose to never export their data. You can always clone any Experience up to your plan's Experience Limit. This will create a copy of the Experience that you can then reset and use versus reusing the original Experience. The choice is yours. Your data is always saved even after downgrading.
