Before we dry-run your Social Wall, we'll open up a test mobile client to see what your crowd will see on their mobile devices. You can open up the mobile client on an actual mobile device (e.g. your mobile phone, your tablet, etc.) or you can open up the mobile client on your desktop computer or iMac. All devices are supported.
To open the mobile client, do one of the following:
On Your Desktop:
This is probably the easiest way to test your Social Wall while still working in the Experience Dashboard. Simply click on the "Crowd URL" link that is shown on the Experience Dashboard. This is the URL (uniform resource locator) or hyperlink to your Social Wall. This is a shortcut link for testing your Social Wall that opens the mobile-client in a new regular browser tab on your desktop computer. You can detach the tab and resize the browser window to make it smaller to "simulate" how the Social Wall will look on smaller mobile devices. You can then have it open along with your Experience Dashboard. During your actual event, your crowd will access your Social Wall using the below "Mobile Device" instructions.
On Your Mobile Device:
Open up your mobile browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your mobile device (e.g. smartphone, tablet, etc.) and in the URL field, type in "crowdpurr.live". You will then be asked to "Enter A Code". Simply enter the five-digit Social Wall Code for your Social Wall from the Experience Dashboard. In this example, our code is JWSAN (as shown on the Experience Dashboard).
