If you're a Classroom Plan subscriber or higher, you can your own upload images and videos (in the form of animated GIFs) to your questions. The uploaded image will display alongside the question on every participant's Mobile View and also on the Projector View.
By uploading your own images in a Trivia Game, you can ask your players questions like, "What month was this person named Employee of the Month?" or "Which sibling is this at three years old?" In a Poll, you could use an image that displays the different answer options that participants can vote on. For example, you could show an image of every contestant or item in a contest.
Additionally, you may also use this function to upload additional sponsor logos or images to your Experiences for other purposes.
Uploading Your Own Image
To upload a Question Image, go to the Experience Dashboard, then go to the blue Questions tab, and select the question tab of the question you want to add an image to. (i.e. Question 1, Question 2, etc.)
Next, head over to the Question Media section located to the right of the answer section and locate the Upload Image button with a camera icon.
Choosing and Cropping an Uploaded Image
Either drag an image or click to choose an image within the upload area. Uploaded images should ideally be a square 500x500 JPEG, PNG, or GIF less than 6MB. GIFs may be animated in order to upload short videos like scenes from movies, stickers, funny memes, etc.
After uploading, you may choose to crop the image. These images will be shown in a 1:1 square aspect ratio. So the more square your image is and/or the more square you crop it, the more it will display accurately on the Projector View and Mobile View. Click on the green Save Image button to save and upload your question image after optionally cropping it.
Viewing Your Question Image on the Projector View
Once you've successfully uploaded your image, it will display on the Projector View whenever its associated question is displayed. Uploaded images are displayed next to the various answer options for your entire crowd to see.
Viewing Your Uploaded Image on the Mobile View
Your image will also be shown on every participant's mobile device on the Mobile View of your Poll or Trivia Game. In case you're not using the Projector View, your participants will still see the uploaded image on their devices as it is shown above the question text.
Removing a Question Image
If you wish to adjust, change your uploaded image, or no longer use a question image, simply remove it on the Questions tab by clicking on the red Remove Question Media button with a trash icon next to the uploaded image in the Question Media area.
Uploading Animated GIFs as Videos
Looping animated GIF files may be uploaded to questions, too. This allows a variety of animated memes and short videos to be used for questions so you may ask a question like, "From which famous 80's movie is this scene?" and you can upload an animated GIF like this:
And the correct answer would be Back to the Future. Animated GIFs will animate in a loop on both the Projector View and the Mobile View.
Using Question Images to Upload Sponsor Logos or Additional Images
Because Question Images are added to both the Projector View and Mobile View, some clients have used this space to add additional images to their Experience that feature additional sponsor logo(s) and/or information for their audience. Here are some examples:
