Upon upgrading to a Premium Plan in Crowdpurr, we keep your credit card payment method securely on file in order to make future upgrades easier and to process ongoing Monthly and/or Yearly Plan renewals. Your credit card details are always encrypted and we never store your actual credit card numbers, expiration date, etc.
If you need to update your payment method in order to change the credit card that gets processed or if you're a returning customer and need to use a new credit card for an upgrade, you'll simply need to update your payment settings.
Update Payment Settings
You can update your payment information in two places:
- My Profile page
- Plans page
From the My Profile page, click on the Plan & Billing tab.
This tab will display your current plan, when your next renewal payment or downgrade will occur, invoices for past payments, and allow you to update your payment method information.
Under the Payment Settings section, you will see your current credit card type and the last 4 digits. To update your credit card, simply click on the Edit Card button. This will allow you to enter a new credit card. Click the blue Update Payment Card button to apply the changes.
Once you've entered the new credit card, your next renewal or upgrade payment will automatically be paid using the newly entered credit card. If you're a previous customer and need to upgrade, you may now upgrade and the newly entered credit card will be charged.
You can also update your payment information via the Plans page located on the left navigation bar. You can do this at any time such as when you upgrade to a new or a higher-level Premium Plan, or any time before your current Premium Plan downgrades. Click on the Upgrade Plan button, or the Edit Current Plan button if you already have a current Premium Plan.
Under Pay With Existing Card, you'll now see the same information from the My Profile page. Click on Edit Card to enter the new payment information, then Update Payment Card to apply the changes. If you're upgrading to a higher-level plan, be sure to click Pay Now to upgrade!
