There are several options on the Presentation View, which give it a lot more utility than just showcasing your crowd's answers. This article goes through each setting one at a time to give you a feel for how to get the most out of it. This article focuses on customizing and running the Presentation View.
Setup
To open a Presentation View, click on the purple Presentation View button under Crowd Views on the Experience Dashboard.

The Presentation View will open up in a different tab of your browser. Drag the tab out of the window and onto the monitor you want it to display on. Press the Full-Screen button in the bottom right corner of the Presentation View, and you're ready to go.

If you only have one screen to work from, you can run your entire Experience from the Presentation View using Keyboard Shortcuts. However, the Experience Dashboard gives you the most control over your Experience.
Poll and Trivia Settings
To open the View Settings panel of the Presentation View, click the gray Settings button with a gear icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. There are different settings for different Experience types.

Sync Presentation View
Whenever a Presentation View is opened, the Sync Presentation View option is enabled by default. This setting will keep this Presentation View tab synced up with the live game so changing questions and views from the Experience Dashboard will affect all Participant Views, as well as all synced Presentation Views.
If you disable it, it will display the current view until Sync Presentation View is enabled again. It will not change questions unless you change the Active Question from this Presentation View itself by using the Keyboard Shortcuts or the arrow buttons on the sides of the screen.
Anything displayed on an un-synced Presentation View will still reflect the live experience. If you enable Show Live Answer Results (A) for a question, it will continue updating as participants answer that question. If you enable Show Rankings Leaderboard (R) in a Trivia Game, it will display the participants' current scores as they answer questions in the live game.

You can open multiple Presentation Views for your Experience. If you have multiple screens set up as Extended Desktops, you can drag one to each desktop. Keep Sync Presentation View enabled to have them display the same thing.
Syncing and un-syncing Presentation Views can be very handy if you have multiple screens available for your event. For a Poll at a trade show booth, you could show the results of a certain question throughout the entire event. For a Trivia Game, you could show the Rankings Leaderboard at all times while the game runs.
Views (Show Live Answer Results (A), Show Correct Answer (C), Show Rankings (R))
These settings have the same effect as changing views from Experience Dashboard. If the current Presentation View is Synced, setting the view will also set the view for all Participant Views, other Synced Presentation Views, and the Experience Dashboard.
If the Presentation View is not synced, setting the view will only affect this Presentation View. As mentioned above, this can be useful for keeping certain information visible at all times.
By design, the Presentation View will display 5 answer options for the Active Question before rotating to display the next set of answer options. If a question has more than five answer options, then the first five will be shown before displaying the next group of answer options in sets of five.
Since Polls won't have correct answers or scores for participants, the only view available will be Show Live Answer Results (A).
Make Room For Overlay
When the Make Room For Overlay setting is enabled, questions and answers in both Polls and Trivia Games will squeeze and shift to the right in order to create some space for a camera overlay. This setting is designed for virtual events in mind where the host may also want to broadcast with a video feed while hosting a Trivia Game or Poll.

Show URL Bar
By default, the Show URL Bar setting is enabled. When this setting is enabled, a black bar appears at the bottom of the Presentation View. It shows participants the URL to follow and the code to enter to join the experience. The message shown will occasionally cycle through the bar, but won't change.
Disable this setting to hide the URL Bar. This will save some screen space, so the answers and the Rankings Leaderboard will expand to fill up the unused space. However, your participants will not see where to go to join your experience. The Experience Code will still work, so post it elsewhere; put it on posters, in emails to invitees, have your host announce it, etc.
If you have a Custom URL set up, that will be shown on the URL bar instead of crowd.live. If your Custom URL is set to Gateway Mode, it will also show the Experience Code. In Linked Experience mode, the URL bar will only show your Custom URL.
Show QR Code
By default, the Show QR Code setting is enabled. When this setting is enabled, the Presentation View will display a large black box containing the Experience's QR code before the Experience is live.
Once the Experience is active, the QR code will relocate and appear as a smaller black box on the bottom-left corner of the Presentation View. QR is short for Quick Response, so a QR code can be read easily by cell phones. Participants will be able to use their mobile device's camera to scan the QR code, which will open up a web browser to directly send them to your Experience.

Disable this setting to hide the QR code. If you disable both the QR Code and URL Bar, participants may not know where to go to join the experience. The Experience Code will still work, so make sure to post it elsewhere such as on a poster, in emails to attendees, etc.
Cycle Rankings Leaderboard (Trivia and Bingo Games Only)
By default, the Cycle Rankings Leaderboard setting is enabled. When this setting is enabled, the Rankings Leaderboard will automatically cycle through the remaining players while the Top 3 Players remain statically displayed at the top of the leaderboard.
When this setting is disabled, the Rankings Leaderboard will not automatically cycle through the remaining players. However, you can still manually cycle through the rankings by pressing the Spacebar on your keyboard to sort through each rankings page.
Dark Text Mode
This mode will make most of the text darker on the Presentation View. This can make it much easier to read the questions and answers if you're using a lighter background.

While you're testing your experience, try it out and see what you think. If you have trouble reading your questions and answers, your crowd probably will too. Ask your friends or coworkers for feedback on how it looks. If possible, try testing the display on the exact screen you'll be using. Things can look different on different monitors or projectors.
Generally, lighter backgrounds work better with Dark Text Mode, and darker backgrounds work better without it. Try to avoid neutral backgrounds; they can be hard to read whether the text is light or dark.
Mute Presentation View (V)
If you've enabled either Background Music or Sound Effects to play on the Presentation View and you need to quickly mute the sound from playing on the Presentation View such as to make an announcement, simply enable the Mute Presentation View (V) setting.
Enabling the Mute Presentation View (V) setting will immediately mute any sounds from playing. Alternatively, you can press the "V" on your keyboard to quickly toggle this setting on and off.

Bingo Game Settings
Some of the Presentation View settings are the same for Bingo Games, but there are two main differing settings.

Call Squares
The first Bingo-exclusive setting is Call Square (B), which allows the host to call the next Bingo Square in the game. Alternatively, you can also use the corresponding keyboard by pressing the "B" button to quickly call the next square.
Call All Squares
The next differing setting is Call All Squares (X), which allows the host to call all of the Bingo Squares in the game; however, you can also use the corresponding keyboard by pressing the "X" key to quickly call all of the squares in the game.
Social Wall Settings
Some of the Presentation View settings are the same for Social Walls, but there are a few different ones too.

At this time, there is no way to un-sync the Presentation View for a Social Wall. Any changes you make to the Presentation View will affect both the Experience Dashboard and any other Presentation Views open for your Social Wall.
Layout
This changes the Layout of your Social Wall. You can also set this on the Experience Dashboard, under the green Settings tab. For more info on that, check out this article:

Speed
Speed changes how fast posts cycle through your Social Wall. You can also set this on the Experience Dashboard, under the green Settings tab. For more info on that, check out this article:

Posts Color
This changes the background color of the Posts on your Social Wall. At this time, all posts must be the same color. You can also set this on the Experience Dashboard, under the blue Live Results tab. Any plan level can use the default color palette.
Choose Custom Posts Color
Conference Plan members and higher can choose a custom color for their posts' backgrounds. Click on the Custom Color selector, and you can use the color picker to choose just the right color for your posts. If you know the hexadecimal code for your color, you can enter that instead.
In the Single Post Spotlight layout, the post being displayed is always shown on a transparent gray background. This gives it a much more subtle effect as it lets your crowd focus on the content of the post itself.
When you change the post color, the text of your posts will automatically switch between a lighter and a darker gray to help your crowd read them, no matter what color you set.
Show URL Bar
When Show URL Bar is enabled, a black bar appears at the bottom of the Presentation View. If you have more than one Social Channel enabled, the URL bar will cycle through a message for each, showing your crowd which #hashtags or @usernames to use for each channel. If you have Display Posts From Crowdpurr enabled, it will also show the URL to follow and the code to enter so your crowd can post directly to your Social Wall.

Disable this setting to hide the URL Bar. In all layouts except the Single Post Spotlight, that will no longer obscure posts as they scroll down behind it. However, this may make it harder for your crowd to participate in your Social Wall, as they'll need to find out how elsewhere. The Experience Code, Crowd URL, and the Social Channel access will all still work, so post it elsewhere; put it on posters, in emails to invitees, have your host announce it, etc.
If you have a Custom URL set up, your URL will be shown on the URL bar instead of crowd.live. If your Custom URL is set to Gateway mode, it will also show the Experience Code. In the Linked Experience mode, the URL bar will only show your Custom URL.

Dark Text Mode
This will enable Dark Text Mode. This will only affect the title and description of your Social Wall, as well as the message, which is displayed before you start the Social Wall.

If possible, try testing on the exact screen you'll be using. Things can look different on different monitors or projectors.

It may also be a nice touch to match your post color. Posts' text will automatically change to suit the color you set for their background: lighter for darker colors, and darker for lighter colors. Enable Dark Text Mode to match the posts and keep your Social Wall looking nice!
Background Settings
This is where you can set which background your Presentation View uses. This sets the background for all Presentation Views for that specific Social Wall. Whether or not they're synced, all Presentation Views will use the same background. The different categories of backgrounds are explained below.
These settings are also identical for Trivia Games, Polls, Bingo Games, and Social Walls.
All members can use any of our provided backgrounds for any of their experiences. Conference Plan members and above can upload their own background images.
Vista Backgrounds
These backgrounds use large, high-resolution images. Additionally, they each have a subtle looping animation to create a bit more visual interest.
Most experiences use the first Vista Background by default. The blur effect on that image makes the animation a bit harder to notice, but it is there.
Wallpaper Backgrounds
These backgrounds use large, high-resolution images. These are static, however; they don't have any animation.
Solid Backgrounds
Pick one of these if you just want a solid color for the background of your Presentation View. These could be more professional than the other available backgrounds. Simple backgrounds are great when the focus needs to be just on your data.
Gradient Backgrounds
The Gradient Backgrounds have a variety of different color patterns to choose from. These backgrounds are far more abstract, simply involving a few colors blending together. Gradients can be excellent backgrounds as they provide a great deal of visual interest, without being too distracting.
Survivor Trivia Backgrounds
When you create a Survivor Mode Trivia Game, the background is set to the first Survivor Trivia background by default.
Choose Custom Color
Setting a custom color for the background lets you use any solid color you like. Conference Plan members can choose a custom color for their Presentation View background. Click on the Custom Color selector, and you can use the color picker to choose just the right color for your background. If you know the hexadecimal code for your color, you can enter that instead. Click the blue Apply (checkmark) next to the selector to apply your color to the background.
Check it and see. On lighter backgrounds, Dark Text Mode can help keep text readable. If you have trouble reading your questions and answers, your crowd probably will too. Ask your friends or coworkers for feedback on how it looks. Try testing on the exact screen and lighting conditions you'll have for your event. Colors can look different between different monitors or projectors.
