You're now ready to start your first Trivia Game. When you first create a Trivia Game it is in the "Ready" state. While in the "Ready" state, your crowd will not be allowed to interact with your Trivia Game. If your audience visits your Trivia Game on their mobile device in this state, they will be shown a message that the Trivia Game will begin shortly.
Starting a Trivia Game
To make your Trivia Game "Live" and allow players to answer the first question, you need to "Start" it. To start a Trivia Game, simply click on the green circular "Play" button under the "Control Center" heading in the upper-left-corner of the Experience Dashboard. After clicking the "Play" button your Trivia Game is now in the "Live" state.
Your Trivia Game will now display the current "Active Question" to your audience if they are currently logged into your Trivia Game on their mobile device (more on this later). The play button now turns into a pause button if you need to pause your Trivia Game.
Pausing a Trivia Game
During your live event and Trivia Game, there may be times when you want to pause the game. Pausing your Trivia Game will temporarily stop your crowd from answering questions and will show the crowd a "Trivia Game Paused, Will Resume Shortly" message on their mobile devices. To pause a Trivia Game, simply click on the gray circular "Pause" button under the "Control Center". To unpause a Trivia Game and resume play, simply click the button again which has now turned into the "Play" button to indicate that this will resume your Trivia Game.
Now that you know how to Start and Pause your Trivia Game, you're ready for the next step Testing the Trivia Game's Mobile Client.
