Check out our Getting Started section which has step-by-step tutorials for creating and running each of our interactive experience types.
We don't offer any free trials of our Premium Plans. We do offer a completely free Basic Plan that offers quite a bit of functionality including allowing you to create, launch, and practice every experience type. You can demo it to your friends, colleagues, clients, etc. The free Basic Plan is limited to three questions per experience, a maximum crowd size of fifteen, and a user maximum of three experiences.
Additionally, if you sign up for any Premium Plan and find that it doesn't suit your needs, we offer a complete 100% refund if requested within seven days of upgrading and you did not use Crowpurr for any actual live events.
At this time we do not. We've found that the most friction-free experience for your crowd is to simply navigate to a URL in their mobile-browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome) on their device versus having to search for native app in the app store, put in their credentials to download, wait for the download, wait for the install, etc. With Crowdpurr you simply navigate to crowdpurr.live and enter your experience code. You can also do a Google search for Crowdpurr. Our website has a code-input at the top.
Our platform is designed to handle this. Upon waking their phone, the crowd-member will be taken back to exactly where they left off or wherever the experience is currently at. Even if it's hours or days later, for example, the next day at a multi-day conference.
No, your crowd can use their cellular data connections as long as your crowd-size isn't so large that the geographical area's cell-tower coverage cannot support the crowd-size (this is unusual). Most metropolitan areas, especially hotels and conference venues have adequate cell-tower coverage to support up to several thousand users. Additionally, you and/or your event-space can provide WIFI access for your crowd. Most major hotels and conference venues provide high-end WIFI to support the capacity of their event-space.
We have an entire section dedicated to this topic. Please check out the help section Connectivity & Setup.
An experience is any interactive application created in Crowdpurr. Polls, Trivia Games, Social Media Walls are all experience types. You can create multiple experiences. Your plan's experience limit simply refers to the quantity of simultaneous experiences you are allowed to create and run at the same time. If you're on the Classroom Plan, for example, you may not create more than ten experiences. However, you can run, test, and re-run experiences as many times as you like. They do not get used up or run out per se. If you reach the experience limit of your plan, you simply need to delete some of your older experiences or upgrade to a higher plan. Check out the article What is an Experience? to learn more.
Audience Size refers to how many people can participate per interactive experience. For example, if you are on the Seminar Plan your audience size is 500. You're also allowed to have 25 Experiences. This means that each one of your interactive experiences could have up to 500 people participating at the same time.
Your interactive experience(s) will not allow more participants than your Audience Size limit. Any participants over the limit will receive a friendly message stating the the interactive experience has reached its participation limit.
When you create an experience it comes with a unique five-digit code that your crowd must use to access your experience. This prevents anyone on the Internet from joining your experience without knowledge of your unique code. At your event, the Experience Visualizer visually displays your unique code to your audience. However, if you broadcast, tweet, or otherwise share your experience code on the Internet or elsewhere, then yes, anyone who knows the code could join, but only while your experience is "Live". Keeping your experiences "deactivated" while not using them is a good practice to further prevent unwanted participation.
Crowdpurr's platform is hosted on the Amazon Web Services cloud. It's one of the largest and most secure cloud-providers in the world. We use multiple server instances for robust application redundancy and each server is tested for several thousand simultaneous crowd-members using the platform. Additionally we have a team constantly monitoring our servers' health. We have years of experience perfecting our platform and have seen every type of situation, from major crowds and large companies to small niche experiences, and improved our platform because of it. It is very, very unlikely the servers will go down during your event.
Yes and yes. Crowdpurr allows the same user account to log into as many different experiences as you want and run them at the same time (i.e. multiple people logged in with the same account running separate experiences at the same time). You may also edit more than one experience at the same time with the same account. You can create and run as many experiences simultaneously as your plan allows (see above question). However, you cannot edit the same experience with more than one user. This will cause user-interface issues as only one question can be edited at a time per experience.
Yes. Crowdpurr is subscription-based and gives you thirty days to learn, set up, practice, and execute your interactive experiences. You simply need to downgrade before your thirty-day license period ends and you will only be charged the one-time cost.
For more information check out the article How Does Crowdpurr's Subscription Billing Work?
Yes. Upon upgrading to a higher-level plan you will be refunded the remainder of your thirty-day billing period of your existing plan. You will then be charged for a new thirty period on the higher level plan. For example: if you have the Classroom Plan for fifteen days and decide to upgrade to the Convention Plan, you'll be refunded approximately one-half of the $49.99 charge ($24.99) and then charged $249.99 for a new thirty-day billing cycle.
You cannot purchase or upgrade to any Premium Plan for less than a thirty-day period. For more information check out the article How Does Crowdpurr's Subscription Billing Work?
Yes, all of your experiences, results, and data are saved securely in our cloud. You can downgrade for as long as you like and later re-upgrade when you need to use one of the Premium Plans again. For more information check out the article How Does Crowdpurr's Subscription Billing Work?
Yes, we can invoice you and you may pay by your chosen payment method. But we require that you upgrade to a Yearly Plan. For more information check out the article Requesting Invoices from Crowdpurr.
